This 50 mL bottle set of sodium chlorite and citric acid combines to make chlorine dioxide, which purifies and make any water source safe for drinking. Compliant with TGA standards, our water purification treatment is easy to use whether you're out hiking, staying abroad, wanting to clean your tank water or if you are uncertain about your home water source.


Simply mix two drops of PART A (sodium chlorite) with two drops of PART B (citric acid) in a clean dry shot glass or other small container for 30 seconds. That makes chlorine dioxide, which neutralises protozoa, viruses and other bacteria in drinking water so that you know it's safe to consume. Next, once the mixture has turned an amber colour, simply add to any water source. Two drops from each bottle will purify up to one litre of water.


These chlorine dioxide kits can be added to any water source to kill harmful microorganisms and create safe drinking water.
